Video Analysis Workshop

Pool-based video analysis

We aim to operate regular video-analysis workshops. These workshops will take place roughly once a month throughout the year, though dates will vary (see below for details).

The workshop will last for half a day and include 2 separate pool sessions and 1 dry-side review session.

These workshops will operate with small groups and a high coach:pupil ratio. The aim will be to obtain high quality footage of swimmers from a variety of angles; both above and below the water. The combination of poolside and classroom analysis sessions will provide the opportunity to critically evaluate each pupils stroke in detail and allow for constructive feedback.

At the end of the session, pupils will leave with personal copies of the footage taken and workshop specific resources to enable further stroke improvements.
